Even though you can still book Hotels and tours, and also look around this website, the actual ‘Bangtao Beach Bar & Café’ premises part of ‘La QingTing’ is temporary closed at the moment, and due to personal reasons will not be open again until after high season 2023 / 2024. Hopefully around April time. I am sorry for any inconvenience.

Future details: If you are walking along Bangtao beach from Laguna down to the southern tip of Bang Tao, or visa versa, then look out for the ‘La QingTing’ / ‘Bangtao Beach Bar & Café’ dragonfly sign. You will not miss it!

Getting Here From North / South Bangtao beach, including from Laguna and Cherngtalay: Walking up or down the beach is best, but depends where you are staying. If to far to walk then a Tuk-tuk would probably cost you around ฿100/฿150. A motorbike taxi, if one person, will be around ฿40, but all rates are dependant on your bartering skills and time of day, night or early morning.

About Bang Tao
