As we mentioned on a few pages our Bangtao coffee shop & cafe In Phuket is not currently opened as functional restaurant yet but saying this we do though supple a few partner restaurant around Bangtao with our Thai organically grown decaf, Thai regular coffee, and our very own probiotic mixed juices made with Water Kefir.
Below is a taste of our plans for the future. Our Bangtao beach coffee shop and teahouse will be a Bang Tao beach bar, cafe and restaurant selling only ‘La QingTing Phuket’ subsanably Thai grown arabica decaf and regular coffees, and also organic black and green tea from Thailand. 
We also offer probiotic water kefir based juices and plant based protein powder smoothies.
We serve a few local partner restaurants with our organically grown Thai decaf and regular Thai Arabica coffee, and our water kefir based mixed probiotic juices. Our partner restaurants are located in-between Bangtao, Surin beach, Cherngtalay and Laguna beach on the North West side of Phuket island. See our partner locations around Bang Thao below.
Our No1 rule is that we only use and offer sustainably and naturally grown coffee and organic loose leaf black and green tea from smallhold farmers in Thailand for our coffees and teas, which in-turn offers eco-friendly, ecological and fresh flavour coffee benefits.
No imported, instant or mass produced coffee or tea here. This simply means that you can trace our coffee’s path in Thailand from the farm to your cup.
About Our Thai Organic Decaf Coffee
Our exclusive medium / dark roast organic decaf coffee is farmed and washed by smallhold farmers in the North of Thailand. It’s 100% Arabica, chemical-free and decaffeinated. Grown at an altitude of 500m, this coffee is processed using the wash method to naturally decaffeinate the beans without the use of harsh chemicals, yet leaves the bean and its natural oils intact. With only 0.08% caffeine, this medium-dark roasted coffee provides a smooth, sweet flavor without compromising on taste.

About Our Organic Thai Green, Black & Herbal Tea
Our Phuket tea shop, restaurant and cafe in Bangtao beach also offers only organically and sustainably grown 
loose leaf black and organic green Thai tea (Not tea bags) which are both grown and hand picked in Northern Thailand. Visitors and locals can drink in-house or takeaway our hot and iced teas, and also buy bags of our very own branded La QingTing Thailand tea in our Phuket teahouse shop and cafe, which is located at the Bangtao Beach Bar & Café in-between Bang Tao, Cherngtalay, Surin and Laguna beach on Phuket.
Another option is our herbal teas mixed with our organic green tea. We offer two types of Thai organic green tea mixed with herbs and fruits:
A) Pineapple, mango, grapefruit, jasmine, lemongrass, apple and lemon.
B) Watermelon, papaya, roselle, rose, orange peel, peach and mint.
Where To Buy Our Thai Coffee Beans
Besides being able to drink a cup of our Thai coffee at our partner restaurants, we also sell 200g bags of our ‘La QingTing’ premium ground coffee beans to guests and tourists to buy as a gift, to take home to their Phuket home, or to take home to their own Country.
Most, if not all, local Hotels, restaurants and cafes only promote and sell imported coffee, and due to the fact that we believe that people visit Thailand to try Thai products, guests can now also purchase our premium Thai coffee beans in our local partner ‘Kim 88 Pharmacy’ which is located just outside the ‘Arinara Resort’ along the Bangtao beach road, which in in-between ‘Great Western Resort on one side and the ‘Sunwing’ and ‘Amora’ resorts on the other. Water Kefir Infused Smoothies & Juices
Besides our normal brewed Thai decaf or regular coffee and organic teas, we are the only Phuket cafe, restaurant or bar in the area that offers guests probiotic Phuket Water Kefir based Phuket smoothies and juices, which all offer a lot more probiotics than Kombucha, tastes great, and offers a daily healthy probiotic immune system boost.
Thailand & Phuket Reforestation
The history of deforestation in northern Thailand is not necessarily connected to coffee. Many mountains, hills and areas were removed of their green forests before coffee growing was an option, when opium was the main product growing here and other monocrops such as corn, rubber and pineapple needed area to grow and create an income for the farmers. We do not simply see the Forest Friendly concept as a way to protect already existing forests but also as a way to put forest back.
We encourage coffee farmers to initiate reforestation efforts. We can negotiate and provide a monetary incentive for coffee producers to start investing in reforestation operations, and so far we have put back two thousand trees of 50 different species in the mountains of Northern Thailand.
So even if the forest is not there yet in some of our coffee sights, it will be in 50 years when the work we’re putting in now will start to show. Through our sustainable business model we have a way of creating a better world for future generations of coffee lovers and coffee farmers.
For Phuket island, from 2002 to 2022, Phuket lost 387 ha of humid primary forest, making up 5.1% of its total tree cover loss in the same time period. The total area of humid primary forest in Phuket decreased by 4.6% in this time period.
Saying this, there are a few good willed locals and expats trying to set up eco friendly and reforestation projects, but unfortunately there are also bigger companies just using it as a marketing ploy to make them look good in their naïve customers eyes, and basically have no teeth to make any sort of impact.
